Steve Farnworth is the third of four children born into the home of Clifton and Ellie Farnworth. Shortly before his birth, his parents trusted in Christ as their Lord and Savior. By the time he was four, his dad had completed Bible College and was pastoring a church in central Washington State. After high school, Steve became one of the first 13 full-time students at Shasta Bible College. When he graduated in May of 1976, he had been a full-time pastor in the Redding area for seven months.
Kristie Farnworth is the fourth of four children born into the home of Bob and Mercedes Long. Her father was an educator in the Seattle area and her mom managed their active home. It was while attending the University of Washington that she learned of the Savior’s love and placed her faith in Christ alone for her eternal salvation.
Over the years they have provided leadership in six different churches in four states, including three church plants and three turn-around ministries. Steve serves as Lead Pastor here at LifeLink, and Kristie volunteers as the church administrator
Both are delighted with the opportunity God has given them to serve in this fellowship at this time. In addition to ministry, they enjoy gardening, camping, hiking, reading, and hanging out with their five dogs on the deck. They have six grown children and seventeen grandchildren.
